In an age where the entire world has been meticulously charted and mapped, I find myself drawn to the remote, the serendipitous and the concept of exploration. How can one capture and portray the essence of these untouched and uncharted landscapes without physically venturing into them?

My work does not require physical exploration and consists of unexplored landscapes from the vantage point of my mind. Through various photographic techniques, I try to give image to landscapes that may remain remote and untouched but are no less real.

The overwhelming landscapes that inspire me are of a beauty so immense and enduring that it defies both words and images. This inspires me to try it, knowing it is impossible and doomed to fail. As I endeavor to create wilderness and untouched places with my own hands, I create a paradox that I embrace and becomes integral to my work.
